It has been a pleasure to work with you all from August to December. We've had great learning moments with many interesting projects of all sorts. In grade 7, the highlight has definitely been the Global Parners Junior program (NYC) for which I have organized a field trip to the Fine Arts Museum of HCMC (along with Teacher Angel), skype calls with artists around the world, guest speakers visits, and even a collaborative project with Mrs Jardin's art students at Saigon South International School. In grade 6, the highlights were probably the visitors that I invited for our Gateway units 4 and 5: Australian yoga instructors, and two US-New-Zealand chefs.
Students, you amazed me with your talents, your enthusiasm, your skills, your desires, your sense of maturity, and the quality of some projects and works you produced. I have high hopes for you in your future lives and careers. Our world is in good hands.
In the meantime, I am also confident that we will spend a highly productive and fulfilling second semester and I very much look forward to spending more time with you all. I hope to expand our collaboration with Mrs Jardin's classes (SSIS), to invite more guest speakers, make more skype calls, and am eager to discover what you will make our class become for the rest of the year.
