In late November, as part of our unit on good food (unit 5, Gateway A2), Mr Baptiste invited Michael and Jane, two chefs from the United States and New Zealand who own a restaurant in PMH, District 7. Chef Michael and Chef Jane taught students how to make pasta from scratch. Chef Michael then made some alfredo sauce with basil to go with it and students indulged in their own creations. Mrs Jane showed students a basil plant and even gave students basil seeds for them to grow their own basil at home.
